⎕EX function available in monadic form.

Monadic Function

Z←⎕EX R expunges or deletes the named object from the APL workspace, similar to )ERASE command. R should be a character string of the function or variable name to delete.
R is a character scalar or vector (function or variable name string).
Z is a scalar number, usually 1. 1 means success, object was deleted. 0 means failed, object not deleted.

Monadic function ⎕EX behaves much the same as described in the Extended APL Standard.

The following deletes variable X from the workspace:

      X←45 99
      ⎕EX 'X'
1

One important difference between ⎕EX and )ERASE is: ⎕EX can be used inside a user function.
